Hidalgo legislator proposes mandatory workshops for aggressors of women

In Hidalgo, Deputy José Luis Rodríguez Higareda has introduced an initiative to reform the Law on Women's Access to a Life Free of Violence. The proposal aims to strengthen re-education measures for individuals who commit acts of violence against women to prevent recidivism.

The legislator noted during a local Congress session that despite previous institutional advances, violence against women remains a primary challenge in building a just and equal society.
