Hidalgo police arrest suspect linked to multiple convenience store robberies

State police in Hidalgo, supported by municipal forces, arrested a 26-year-old man in Tepeapulco suspected of involvement in at least seven convenience store robberies across Hidalgo and the State of Mexico.

During the intervention, authorities seized a replica short firearm, 120 doses of suspected marijuana, 43 doses of a substance resembling crystal meth, five mobile phones, two wallets, and a motorcycle with altered identification. The suspect, identified as M. A. V. M., has been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to determine his legal status.
