Hidalgo reports 2,492 pending labor dispute files

In Hidalgo, Mexico, the Local Conciliation and Arbitration Board reports 2,492 pending labor dispute files. Despite this remaining backlog, Labor Secretary Óscar Javier González Hernández stated that over half of the historical backlog has been addressed in the last four years, with 2,590 files concluded during the current administration.

The Secretary also reported that 6 million pesos in fines were issued to companies for labor violations. Additionally, the department has conducted 5,400 inspections affecting more than 83,000 workers, emphasizing a policy of workplace regularization over purely economic sanctions.
