Hidalgo state implements social programs and security measures

Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar has highlighted several social and security initiatives in Hidalgo. As part of a state-wide strategy, 1,782 residents received hearing aids through a joint effort involving the National Public Beneficence Patrimony Administration and local health services, representing an investment of over 18.4 million pesos.

In terms of public services, the Hidalgo Institute for Youth (Inhjuve) is offering free psychological and nutritional support to young people, available both in person and remotely to reach isolated municipalities.

Regarding security, the Hidalgo Security Cabinet reported that the return-to-school surveillance operations concluded without major incidents. However, authorities also reported successful drug enforcement actions, including the dismantling of three drug sales points and the arrest of several individuals for drug possession and fuel theft.
