Hideki Matsuyama confirmed for Dunlop Phoenix tournament

Hideki Matsuyama has confirmed his participation in the Dunlop Phoenix tournament, scheduled to take place from November 19 to 22 at Phoenix Country Club in Miyazaki. This marks his fourth consecutive year and 12th appearance in the event. Matsuyama, aiming for his first victory at this tournament since 2014, expressed his determination to repay supporters after falling short of the title last year.

The tournament will also feature international players, including U.S. Open champion J.J. Spohn, Michael Lassasso, Maximilian Steinlechner, and Aldrich Potgieter.

In memory of the late Masashi Ozaki, who held the record for most consecutive appearances, memorial exhibitions featuring his clothing and equipment will be held at the host course and Miyazaki Airport.
