Hidemasa Morita expected to miss at least two weeks due to injury

Hull City midfielder Hidemasa Morita is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks due to an injury. While initial local reports suggested a calf injury that could result in a three-week absence, Hull City manager Sergej Yakubovich clarified in a club interview that the player is suffering from a minor adductor injury.

Morita, who joined Hull City from Sporting CP this summer, missed the recent Premier League match against Aston Villa. The injury comes as the player was gradually increasing his playing time following a calf issue during the pre-season. The setback is expected to impact his availability for the Japan national team's upcoming international fixtures scheduled for late September and early October.
