HIDIVE announces Anime NYC 2026 lineup featuring Reincarnated as a Sword

HIDIVE has announced its programming lineup for Anime NYC 2026, which will take place from August 20 to August 23 at the Javits Center in New York City. A central highlight of the showcase is the North American premiere of Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 on Saturday, August 22.

The event will include a Q&A panel featuring director Shinji Ishihira and producers Yosuke Shimada and Genta Ozaki, who are traveling from Japan for the convention.

Other scheduled premieres include the world English dub premiere of the period drama The World Is Dancing, the world premiere of the slice-of-life anime Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudou Musume, and the North American premiere of Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden. The showcase will also provide attendees with a preview of HIDIVE’s complete Fall 2026 simulcast lineup.
