HIDIVE extends anime partnership with Mainichi Broadcasting System

AMC Global Media’s anime streaming service, HIDIVE, has extended its multi-year output agreement with Japan’s Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS). Under the renewed deal, HIDIVE will maintain exclusive streaming rights for select MBS-produced anime titles in territories outside of Asia, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

As part of the announcement, HIDIVE revealed two new additions to its fall 2026 lineup. The first is ‘Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden’, an action-fantasy series based on light novels by Umikaze Minamino. The series will have its North American premiere at Anime NYC on August 21.

The second addition is ‘TETSURYO! Meet with Tetsudou Musume’, an original slice-of-life anime celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Tomytec ‘Tetsudou Musume’ franchise. The series follows four university students in a train travel club and is scheduled to debut in October.
