Hidro Argeș SRL announces public debate for mineral aggregate project

Hidro Argeș SRL has announced a public debate regarding the environmental impact report for a proposed mineral aggregate exploitation project. The project is planned for the left bank terrace of the Argeș River within the Moara Mocanului Vest perimeter, located in Căteasca commune, Argeș county.

The Argeș Environmental Protection Agency (DJM Argeș) will decide whether to issue or reject the environmental agreement. The environmental impact report is available for consultation at the DJM Argeș headquarters in Pitești during weekday mornings. A public debate is scheduled to take place at the Căteasca Commune Town Hall on November 25, 2026, starting at 12:00. Interested parties may submit written comments or observations to the DJM Argeș headquarters until November 24, 2026.
