Hidroelectrica allocates 8.36 million lei for professional liability insurance

Hidroelectrica is allocating 8.36 million lei (excluding VAT) from its own funds to procure professional liability insurance services. The contract aims to cover the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors, including company presidents.

The insurance is intended to cover financial losses or damages resulting from acts, errors, omissions, or breaches of obligations committed during the exercise of management, administration, or supervisory functions.

The procurement will be conducted through an open tender with the award criterion being the ‘best quality-price ratio’. Bidders must demonstrate that they have completed similar services worth at least 5 million lei (excluding VAT) over the last three years. The contract will span 12 months, and the deadline for receiving offers is October 19, 2026.
