Higashiosaka shopping district fire damages several stores

A fire broke out in the Jinja Mall Hyoutanyama shopping district in Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture, in the early hours of October 11. The blaze, reported shortly after midnight, is believed to have damaged approximately four to five stores, including a bakery and a shoe store.

No injuries have been reported. The fire was largely contained within two hours. Local authorities are investigating the cause, noting that the area had seen significant crowds due to the Hiraoka Shrine autumn festival occurring between October 10 and 11.
