High Alti Nakameguro Studio launches new junior training options

High Altitude Management Co., Ltd. has launched the ‘Junior Support Option’ at its High Alti Nakameguro Studio in Tokyo. This new service allows elementary school students to combine three distinct training methods: the ‘High Alti Juku’ group lessons, agility enhancement lessons, and one-on-one athlete programs.

The service utilizes a hypoxic environment simulating an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters to improve running speed and cardiopulmonary function. This scientific approach addresses a growing social concern in Japan regarding declining physical fitness among children, as reported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Due to the efficiency of the training—often described by parents as condensing two to three hours of traditional practice into 50 minutes—the program appeals to the ‘time performance’ (taipa) needs of dual-income households. At the company’s Funabashi studio, the number of junior users has reportedly tripled compared to 2025 levels.
