High Desert Food & Farm Alliance launches first Oregon food trail scavenger hunt

The High Desert Food & Farm Alliance (HDFFA) is hosting the inaugural High Desert Food Trail Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, September 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Sisters and Tumalo area of Central Oregon. More than 15 local farms and food businesses will serve as checkpoints where teams solve clues, complete activities and learn about the region’s producers. Participants who finish the hunt can compete for prizes offered by the participating businesses.

HDFFA Executive Director Kristin Points said the event is a celebration of the local food system, aiming to bring families and friends together while supporting farmers, ranchers and food entrepreneurs in Central Oregon.
