High Flyers upgrades monitoring camera system across 10 nurseries

High Flyers, a provider of Keytos Childcare and Keytos Baby Care nurseries, has upgraded its monitoring camera system across all 10 of its facilities. The company utilizes the Safie cloud-based video platform, which now consists of 149 cameras providing high-definition footage to enhance safety and childcare quality.

The recorded footage is used for two primary purposes: accident investigation and professional development. Through a proprietary training program called ‘Insight Sessions,’ staff review footage of daily activities—such as naps, meals, and playtime—to objectively analyze child movement, staff positioning, and potential blind spots to reduce risks like collisions or falls.

The system also serves as a tool for building trust with parents and protecting staff. In instances where parents raise concerns about injuries or interactions, the recorded data provides objective evidence to clarify the situation. For example, footage has been used to demonstrate that staff handled agitated children safely and professionally, resolving misunderstandings and strengthening the relationship between the nursery and families.
