High Parasite releases new single ‘The Screams That Come’

High Parasite, the UK-based project fronted by My Dying Bride vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe, has released a new standalone single titled ‘The Screams That Come’ via Spinefarm. The track is produced by Gregor Mackintosh of Paradise Lost and mixed by Lawrence Mackrory.

Describing their sound as ‘death pop’, the band aims to blend death metal intensity with melodic sensibilities. This release follows their debut album, ‘Forever We Burn’, released in September 2024. The group is currently working on a second album, which is scheduled for release early next year.

High Parasite is set to perform at London Metalfest 2026 at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, appearing on a lineup headlined by Candlemass. Their final scheduled live performance for 2026 is set for October 31st at the Albany Arcade in Halifax.
