High-rise floor renovation completed on 23rd floor near Reeperbahn

A complex floor renovation project was completed on the 23rd floor of a high-rise building near the Reeperbahn. The project involved renovating 400 square meters of flooring, presenting significant logistical and temporal challenges.

Due to the building's 85-meter height, conventional pumping methods for screed were not feasible. Instead, workers utilized pre-mixed dry mortar in bags, specifically Uzin SC 968, which was delivered on pallets. To minimize disruption to the offices and conference rooms located directly below the work site, heavy construction and noise-intensive tasks were restricted to hours outside of standard business operations.

The technical requirements included specific soundproofing measures, utilizing 40 mm mineral wool impact sound insulation plates and 25 mm wood wool lightweight construction boards to accommodate the building's geometry and load requirements.
