High school fencing teams compete at Inter-High Championships

During the Inter-High School Championships held in Shiga Prefecture, several high school fencing teams competed in the team events.

Kagoshima Minami High School reached the semifinals in the men's team competition but lost to Ogaki Minami (Gifu) with a score of 2-5, resulting in a third-place finish. In the men's foil individual event, Kagoshima Minami's Shiraogawa secured second place, while Yasutake took third.

In other competitions, Seirei Gakuen's women's team and Akita Hokoka's men's team were both eliminated in the quarterfinals, failing to reach the final four.
