High school football rankings shift in Wyoming and Iowa

Recent high school football rankings in Wyoming and Iowa show significant shifts in top-tier placements across various classifications.

In Wyoming, the third WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll features a new number one in Class 1A 9-man football, where Rocky Mountain moved to the top spot following a 57-12 victory over Southeast. In the 6-man rankings, Casper Christian debuted at number four. Other notable movements include changes in the 2A and 4A divisions, with Star Valley remaining a unanimous top-ranked choice.

In Iowa, the latest Radio Iowa rankings highlight Iowa City Regina Catholic and Woodbury Central as new number one teams in their respective classes. In the state's Top 25 overall rankings, Dowling Catholic maintains the number one position in Class 5A, followed by Southeast Polk in second. Other leaders remaining at the top of their classes include Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Clear Lake (3A), and Kuemper Catholic (2A).
