High school volleyball: United and Columbiana secure sweeps

In recent high school volleyball action, United swept Wellsville in three sets (25-12, 25-17, 25-18), improving to a 4-1 overall record and 3-0 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference (EOAC). Rileah Phillips led United with 22 points, 23 assists, and seven digs.

Columbiana also maintained an unbeaten record by sweeping Valley Christian 25-6, 25-6, 25-5, moving to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the EOAC. Toronto secured a victory over Lisbon with scores of 25-18, 25-22, and 25-7.
