High schools appoint new athletic directors

Two high schools have announced new appointments for their athletic director positions.

Harry S. Truman High School has appointed Dr. Kyle Hoffman as its new athletic director and assistant principal. Hoffman, who has served as a teacher in the Bristol Township School District since 2020, replaces Tim Monaghan. Monaghan will transition to a role as assistant principal focusing on instructional leadership and school culture.

Bethel Park High School has hired Matt Humbert as its new athletic director, effective in early October. Humbert joins the district from Belle Vernon Area School District, where he served for 11 years. He succeeds Laura Grimm, who departed to lead the athletic program at Winchester Thurston School.
