Cuiabá hosts High Tech Festival featuring robotics and gaming

The 2nd edition of the High Tech State Festival (Technology, Industry, and Digital Culture) is being held in Cuiabá from October 21 to 23 at the Centro de Eventos do Pantanal. Organized by the State Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (Seciteci-MT) in partnership with Instituto Brasil, the free event features robotics, electronic games, K-pop, and cosplay.

Highlights include the participation of voice actor Raul Schlosser and the Vitrine Games MT space, which showcases local game development in Mato Grosso. The festival also offers a Retro and Digital space with board games and arcade machines. Competitions in E-Games, robotics, and cosplay will distribute R$ 130,000 in prizes.

Separately, the Minas Gerais State Secretariat of Culture and Tourism (Secult-MG) has opened the electoral process for the State Council of Cultural Policy (Consec-MG) for the 2026-2028 biennium. Applications for civil society representatives are open from October 26 to November 10.
