Higher education conferences held in Paysandú foster trinational cooperation

The III Binational Conference of Higher Education Teachers of the Uruguay River and the III Trinational Conference of Higher Education were held in Paysandú, Uruguay. The event was organized through an alliance between the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos (Uader) and the Cenur Litoral Norte of the Universidad de la República.

Since its inception in 2022 as a bilateral meeting between Concepción del Uruguay and Paysandú, the initiative has expanded to include Brazil. The current edition in Paysandú drew over 500 participants and featured 170 presented works.

Key discussions included innovation ecosystems, the connection between universities, local governments, and the productive sector, regional internationalization, and the application of artificial intelligence in higher education. The Polo Tecnológico ‘La Nube’ participated in a dialogue table focused on how these collaborations can foster more innovative territories.
