Higher education counseling progresses in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Higher education counseling processes are advancing in the Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education is scheduled to release the TG EDCET 2026 seat allotment results on August 16. Candidates must use their rank and hall ticket numbers to check their status. The reporting process for allotted seats is set to occur between August 17 and August 20, during which students must pay tuition fees and present necessary academic and category certificates. A second phase of counseling may follow in late August or early September depending on remaining vacancies.

In Andhra Pradesh, the APSCHE has commenced the final phase of registration and web options entry for the AP EAMCET 2026 MPC stream. Registration remains open until August 20, with document uploads continuing through August 21 and web options entry available until August 22. Candidates will have an opportunity to modify their options on August 23, with the final seat allotment results expected on August 26.
