Higher Education Loans Board issues notice to students over application errors

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has issued a notice to students regarding incorrect information in loan and scholarship applications. Students who applied using details for an institution other than their current one are urged to update their records while applications are still in the allocation stage.

The board emphasized that institution details cannot be modified once a loan reaches the disbursement stage. Students are also advised to correct any other errors immediately to avoid the risk of loan cancellation. Additionally, TVET Diploma Level 6 applicants were reminded to ensure they receive a formal completion message to confirm their submissions are successful.
