Highgate and Eternam acquire Athens Zafolia Hotel

Highgate and Eternam have completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of ‘Attikos Ouranos’ Anonymous Hotel and Tourism Company, the owner and operator of the historic Athens Zafolia Hotel. The transaction, valued at over €30 million, marks the first major deal in the hotel sector following the summer season.

The Athens Zafolia Hotel, located on Alexandra Avenue, has been owned by the Zafolia family since 1977. The property features 191 rooms, a swimming pool, and a rooftop restaurant with views of Mount Lycabettus. Under a long-term management agreement, Highgate will assume the management of the hotel moving forward.
