Highland Frost wins inaugural National Ball Hockey League title
Highland Frost has won the inaugural Great Britain National Ball Hockey League (NBHL) title after defeating the Merseyside Foxes 3-2 in Sheffield. Ethan Daintith, a Hull-born player, scored the deciding goal in the match.
Highland Frost maintained an undefeated record throughout the playoffs and finished the regular season at the top of the league with eight wins in ten matches. Daintith also achieved individual honors, finishing the season as the league's top points scorer with 28, top goal scorer with 16, and joint-top assist scorer with 12.
The inaugural season of the NBHL Great Britain Tier 2 division included teams from Merseyside, the Midlands, and Yorkshire. This success follows the Great Britain men’s team, which included Daintith, securing a bronze medal in Group B at the 2026 Men’s Ball Hockey World Championships.
