Highlander reboot filming features Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe

Production is underway for the Highlander reboot, directed by Chad Stahelski. The film follows the 1986 original, featuring Henry Cavill in the lead role of Connor MacLeod.

Supporting cast members include Russell Crowe, who will reprise a role similar to Sean Connery's Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez, and WWE's Drew McIntyre, playing Angus MacLeod. Other cast members include Karen Gillan as Heather, Dave Bautista as The Kurgan, Djimon Hounsou as Sunda Kastagir, and Jeremy Irons as the leader of The Watchers.

Filming has taken place across Scotland, England, Poland, and Hong Kong. The project had previously faced delays due to an injury sustained by Cavill during physical preparation.
