Highway 40 in Repentigny to face night-time closures

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable has announced upcoming evening and night-time traffic disruptions on Highway 40 (Félix-Leclerc) in Repentigny. From August 20 to September 2, lane closures will occur between Valmont Street and Industrial Boulevard to facilitate asphalt paving work aimed at improving safety and driving comfort.

In the westbound direction, closures will follow a specific schedule: Sundays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Fridays from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. During complete closures, traffic will be diverted to the opposite roadway, maintaining at least one lane in each direction. Certain exits and access ramps, including Exit 100, will also be closed during these periods. Speed limits may be reduced to 70 km/h, and lane widths may be narrowed to 3.5 meters.
