Highway crashes disrupt traffic on German‑Austrian routes

A multi‑truck collision on Germany's Autobahn 93 near Brannenburg and Oberaudorf injured one person, who was air‑lifted to hospital, and forced police to advise a large‑scale detour for traffic heading toward Innsbruck.

In Marchtrenk, Austria, a car struck a curb on the B1 Wiener Straße, spun into the green strip and required removal, leaving the road one‑lane for an hour.

Earlier on the Nordautobahn heading toward Vienna, several vehicles collided near the Raststation, resulting in injuries, temporary road closure and the use of a heavy‑lift crane to recover the wreckage.
