Hikari Mitsushima announces birth of first child

Japanese actress Hikari Mitsushima revealed during a TBS Radio broadcast on August 24 that she gave birth to her first child in early summer. Mitsushima shared the news via an audio message on the program ‘Daichi Miura’s Spacewalk’.

During the announcement, Mitsushima expressed gratitude to the program's host, singer Daichi Miura, noting that he had already visited her to meet and hold the baby. She mentioned using gifts from Miura, including a bath towel and a bell-ringing plush toy, describing them as treasures.

Mitsushima, who previously performed in the dance unit ‘Folder’ with Miura, had announced her marriage to model Keisuke Asano and her pregnancy via Instagram in March. Miura expressed surprise at the unexpected timing and location of the announcement but shared his joy regarding the news.
