Hiker rescued by helicopter after snake bite in Julian Alps

A hiker required helicopter assistance in the Julian Alps after being bitten by a snake. The incident occurred on a mountain path between bivouac four and Aljažev dom, specifically on the slopes of Matajurski vrh.

The rescue operation was carried out by the Tolmin mountain rescue service during a period of high activity in the mountains due to warm, sunny weather.
