Hiking events scheduled in Catalonia for November

Two distinct hiking events are scheduled to take place in Catalonia on November 8.

The Club Muntanyenc de L’Hospitalet (CMH) will host its 33rd Popular Walk through the mountains of Baix. The event features a circular route exploring new areas to bypass current restrictions in Collserola due to swine fever. Participants can choose between distances of 8.90 km or 10.50 km. The walk begins in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, passing through locations such as Can Palos Vell and Pla de les Bruixes. Registration is open until November 3 via the CMH website or in person.

In the Baix Set region, the tenth edition of the Marxa de Tardor del Baix Set Memorial Isidre Oró will also take place. Starting from Sudanell, the event offers five different routes ranging from the 5.3 km Puput route for families to the 23.9 km Milà Negre route for more experienced hikers. The routes traverse various municipalities, including Montoliu de Lleida, Sunyer, Alfés, and Albatàrrec, highlighting the natural heritage of the Set and Segre rivers.
