Hiking route through Mostviertel via Lorenzipechkogel

A hiking route through the Mostviertel region features a trek from Lilienfeld to the Lorenzipechkogel and Kaiserkogelhütte. The journey begins at the Lilienfeld station, crossing the Traisen river and ascending via Jungherrntalstrasse.

The path follows the Kirchensteig and Kammsteig to reach the Lorenzipechkogel, which offers views of the Muckenkogel and the surrounding Mostviertel area. From the summit, hikers can follow trail 63 to the Zeitlhof-Sattel, then take trail 655 down toward Eschenau. From Eschenau, the route continues toward the Kaiserkogelhütte via path 655.
