Hilary Duff honors Aaron Carter and reunites with Joel Madden on tour

During her Lucky Me World Tour, singer Hilary Duff has made notable onstage appearances honoring former partners. In Philadelphia, Duff wore a vintage T-shirt featuring the late Aaron Carter, her former boyfriend from the early 2000s. Carter, a former child star, passed away in November 2022 at the age of 34.

In a separate performance at Madison Square Garden, Duff reunited with her former partner Joel Madden. Madden, the frontman of Good Charlotte, joined Duff on stage along with his bandmates to perform the 2002 song ‘The Anthem’. The two performers, who dated between 2002 and 2006, have maintained a friendship in the years following their split.
