Hilary Duff headlines sold‑out Madison Square Garden shows, reunites with ex Joel Madden

Hilary Duff opened her Lucky Me World Tour with two sold‑out concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden on August 5‑6, 2026, promoting her new album Luck… or Something. During the first night she surprised the audience by bringing out ex‑boyfriend Joel Madden and his band Good Charlotte; together they performed the 2002 hit “The Anthem.” Duff also introduced three RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni for a dance segment and thanked her four children, noting that her five‑year‑old daughter Mae had visited the emergency room earlier that morning and calling her “very brave.”

The shows featured a series of standout fashion moments: a custom Kelsey Randall micro‑minidress made entirely of compact discs, a see‑through Lou de Betoly cut‑out bodysuit, a Knicks championship tee from the New York or Nowhere collaboration, and bespoke Gianvito Rossi footwear. Duff also referenced her former husband, former NHL player Mike Comrie, with a light‑hearted comment about hockey games. The performances marked Duff’s first headline at the iconic arena and set the stage for the tour’s upcoming dates across the United States, Europe and Oceania.
