Hildon Chaves pledges to complete Cacoal Municipal Hospital

Hildon Chaves, former mayor of Porto Velho and candidate for Governor of the State, has pledged to prioritize the completion of the Cacoal Municipal Hospital in the Greenville neighborhood. The project, which began in 2016, has been stalled since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Preliminary studies suggest approximately R$ 46 million in federal resources will be required to finish the construction. The hospital complex is designed to cover 40,000 square meters and provide up to 100 beds across various specialties. Nine pavilions have already been partially constructed.

Chaves stated he intends to form a partnership with Mayor Tony Pablo to facilitate the completion of the health center. He cited his previous experience with the National Association of Mayors and work with Caixa Econômica Federal as evidence of his ability to rescue stalled public works projects.
