Hildon Chaves proposes reducing healthcare queues in Rondônia
Hildon Chaves, a candidate for the governorship of Rondônia, has proposed a plan to prioritize reducing healthcare waiting lists within his first 100 days in office. The strategy involves a task force to map individuals waiting for consultations, exams, or surgeries, prioritizing urgent cases based on location and waiting time.
Reducing the medical queue is one of 19 actions planned for the start of his mandate. Other proposals include addressing violence against women through integrated efforts between police, health, and justice sectors, and utilizing idle federal funds for security.
Regarding fiscal management, Chaves intends to audit state accounts before committing to new permanent expenditures due to budget constraints for 2027. He also plans to publish 30 key goals online with specific deadlines and responsible parties for public monitoring. Infrastructure projects mentioned in the plan include new hospitals in Ji-Paraná and Ariquemes, as well as paving the RO-370 highway.
