Hillary Clinton criticizes Netanyahu government and leadership
Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has launched a sharp critique of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating, ‘I love Israel and I hate Netanyahu’s government and its policies.’ In an interview with MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe,’ Clinton argued that the current political situation harms both the United States and Israel.
Clinton characterized the handling of the October 7 terrorist attacks as a ‘failure of leadership and protection of Israeli citizens.’ She referenced reports suggesting that UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan warned Netanyahu of a large-scale conspiracy ten days prior to the attacks. Clinton suggested that Netanyahu either failed to believe the warning or intentionally allowed the situation to unfold to strengthen his political position.
Looking toward Israel’s upcoming elections scheduled for October 27, 2026, Clinton urged Washington to adopt a much tougher and more decisive stance toward any future Israeli government to achieve sustainable peace in the region.
