Hillerød Station to close for new pedestrian bridge installation
Hillerød Station will be closed over the upcoming weekend to facilitate the installation of a new pedestrian bridge. The project involves lifting two large bridge elements, measuring 32 and 42 meters in length and 10 meters in width, into place using two of the largest mobile cranes in the Nordic region.
Due to the construction, train services to and from the station will be suspended. DSB is providing replacement buses for S-trains from Friday evening until Sunday, October 4. Lokaltog will also provide replacement buses, which will operate until Tuesday, October 6. The Frederiksværkbanen line will continue to operate as usual.
