Hilton appoints Jeff Moore as Chief Technology Officer

Hilton Worldwide Holdings has appointed Jeff Moore as executive vice president and chief technology officer. Moore is scheduled to join the company on October 26, where he will report to President and CEO Chris Nassetta and serve as a member of the company’s executive committee.

Moore joins Hilton from Uber, where he served as vice president of software engineering. During his tenure at Uber, he led a global organization of 2,500 engineers supporting various divisions, including Uber Eats, Uber for Business, Uber Advertising, and Applied AI. His professional background also includes leadership roles at Amazon, where he worked on the Kindle, Fire TV, and Alexa product lines, as well as early career experience at Anheuser-Busch.

Hilton intends to utilize Moore’s expertise to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence and next-generation technology. The company is currently developing AI-powered trip planning tools and digital platforms to enhance guest-facing services and personalized messaging.
