Hilton debuts Tapestry Collection in Central America with Montara Hotel

Hilton has officially launched the Montara Hotel in the mountains of Heredia, Costa Rica, marking the debut of its Tapestry Collection lifestyle brand in Central America. The property is situated on approximately 540,000 square feet of grounds overlooking the Central Valley.

The hotel features 97 guestrooms, including 38 luxury suites, with designs incorporating wood finishes and private balconies. The resort emphasizes sustainability through the use of solar panels, LED lighting, electric maintenance equipment, a wastewater treatment plant for irrigation, and rainwater collection systems.

Amenities include a 13,200-square-foot spa offering hydrotherapy and holistic treatments, as well as four dining options: Bosco, a signature restaurant using seasonal local ingredients; Santoro, a fine-dining steakhouse; the 1998 Lobby Bar; and a poolside juice bar. The property also showcases an exclusive art collection featuring works by Mario Maffioli and Fabio Herrera.
