Hilton Honors fifth‑night free perk and new Amex card welcome bonuses announced

Hilton Honors now grants elite members (Silver level and above) a free fifth night on any award stay of at least five nights when the stay is booked entirely with points. The benefit applies up to a 20‑night stay, allowing members to pay points for only four of every five nights. The free night is awarded regardless of nightly rate fluctuations, letting travelers use points most efficiently.

American Express’ Hilton credit‑card line has also been updated with several high‑value welcome offers. The Hilton Honors American Express Card can deliver up to 130,000 bonus points after meeting spend thresholds, while the Surpass® Card may provide up to 180,000 points. The Aspire Card and the Business Card each feature similar bonus structures, with required spending ranging from $1,000 to $6,000 within the first three to six months. These offers are subject to change, and cardholders can earn only one bonus per card for life.
