Hilton launches all-electric Home2 Suites Clean Energy Prototype

Hilton has introduced the Home2 Suites by Hilton Clean Energy Prototype, an optional and scalable hotel design concept intended for owners and developers. The prototype utilizes all-electric systems, renewable energy, and high-efficiency building technologies to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs.

Energy modeling suggests the design could lead to annual energy cost reductions between 18% and 40%, alongside a 30% increase in energy efficiency compared to traditional layouts. Additionally, the prototype aims to cut approximately 440 metric tons of operational emissions per property. This initiative aligns with the World Green Building Council’s zero operational emissions requirements and supports Hilton’s ‘Travel with Purpose’ strategy.
