Himachal Pradesh SC Commission Reaches SKOCH Award Semi-Finals

The Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Scheduled Castes qualified for the semi‑finals of the SKOCH Award 2026, receiving the SKOCH Order of Merit for its "Welfare of Scheduled Castes" initiative. Chairman Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman and commission members met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to report the achievement.

Chief Minister Sukhu congratulated the commission, saying the national‑level recognition reflects its dedication to safeguarding the rights and welfare of Scheduled Castes in the state. He praised the team’s efforts, expressed confidence in their continued work, and noted the accolade as a source of pride for Himachal Pradesh.
