Himachal Pradesh: Woman raped and robbed in Mandi district

In the Sundernagar area of Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, a woman has filed a police complaint alleging she was raped after an intruder broke into her home during the night of August 3 and 4.

The victim reported that the assailant also stole gold jewelry worth approximately 5 lakh rupees from an almirah and issued death threats against her and her husband to prevent them from reporting the crime. Additionally, the victim has accused her sister-in-law of involvement in threatening the couple.

Sundernagar DSP Bharat Bhushan confirmed that an FIR has been registered. Police are conducting a medical examination of the victim and investigating all aspects of the case.
