Himashree Boro's body found in Andhra Pradesh after vanishing from train

The body of 20-year-old Himashree Boro, a resident of Assam, has been recovered near a railway track in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Boro had gone missing while traveling on the Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express during a journey from Visakhapatnam to Guwahati.

CCTV footage has emerged showing Boro on a railway platform shortly before boarding a train, where an unidentified man was seen approaching and speaking to her. Additionally, a video reportedly recorded by Boro herself showed her in a train aisle surrounded by several men; she had allegedly sent this footage to a friend during her journey. Her family reported that she expressed fear in her final communications, noting the presence of many men around her.

When the train arrived in Guwahati, authorities found Boro's bag in the S2 coach, but she was missing. Following a search along the railway route, her body was discovered in a wooded area near Tekkalipuram. Railway police and the Government Railway Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
