Himesh Reshammiya Melodies acquires music rights for Arjun Naga

Himesh Reshammiya Melodies has acquired the music rights for the upcoming action film ‘Arjun Naga’, directed by Anil Sharma. This acquisition is part of an aggressive expansion strategy for the label, moving its reach beyond productions associated with Reshammiya’s own banner.

This project marks the third collaboration between Reshammiya and Sharma, following their previous work on ‘Apne’ (2007) and ‘Genius’ (2018). Reshammiya has also composed the soundtrack for ‘Arjun Naga’, which is described as a multi-genre mass entertainer starring Utkarsh Sharma and featuring Arjun Rampal as the antagonist.

The label is rapidly building a diverse portfolio of commercial soundtracks. Other recent acquisitions include the music rights for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, and ‘Gunmaaster G9’, directed by Aditya Datt and starring Emraan Hashmi. The label is also working on projects such as ‘Pal Bhar Ke Liye’ and various regional Marathi films.
