Hims & Hers Health navigates regulatory shifts and revenue growth

Hims & Hers Health is experiencing significant revenue growth alongside regulatory challenges. The company reported Q2 2026 revenue of $753 million, a year-over-year increase of approximately 38% to 40%, supported by a subscriber base exceeding 2.5 million.

Despite this growth, the company has faced legal and regulatory hurdles, including a July 2026 FTC lawsuit concerning data privacy practices and FDA scrutiny regarding compounded GLP-1 weight-loss drugs. In response to the FDA crackdown on compounded semaglutide, Hims & Hers pivoted its strategy by ceasing the promotion of compounded GLP-1s and establishing a direct distribution partnership with Novo Nordisk to sell branded Ozempic and Wegovy.

Financial analysts note that while the company shows strong operating momentum and potential for market capitalization growth, there are risks regarding declining gross margins and the impact of lower-margin weight-loss treatments.
