Hinatazaka46 member Miku Kanemura holds press conference for second photo book

Miku Kanemura, a member of the idol group Hinatazaka46, held a press conference in Tokyo to celebrate the release of her second photo book, ‘Kibi’ (Kodansha).

The photo book was shot in Austria, inspired by the film ‘Before Sunrise’. Kanemura noted that she intentionally worked out at a gym to achieve a more toned and supple physique for the shoot, focusing particularly on lower body strength through exercises like squats.

During the event, Kanemura shared a playful self-rating for the book, giving it 3,904 points as a pun on her nickname, ‘Oshi’ (meaning supporter/fan). When asked to compare the photo book to sushiネタ (sushi toppings), she chose ‘Southern Bluefin Tuna Medium Fatty Tuna’ (Minami Maguro no Chutoro), citing her preference and the red, white, and red color scheme of the Austrian flag featured in the book.
