Hinatazaka46 members serve as one-day police chiefs in Miyazaki

The Miyazaki South Police Station held a community safety campaign at the ‘Apollo no Izumi’ event plaza in Miyazaki City. To promote the movement, members of the idol group Hinatazaka46, Yurika Yamashita and Saki Katayama, were appointed as one-day police chiefs.

The two members participated in activities to prevent crimes such as special fraud. They joined a skit performed by a color guard unit to warn the public that police officers do not contact individuals via social media or use LINE to present arrest warrants. Following the event, they assisted in awareness activities by distributing crime prevention goods to attendees.
